Note: Japanese artist Tomoo Gokita's monochromatic greyscale works reference his earlier career as a graphic designer and are inspired by vintage magazines and film stills. His interest in pop culture can be seen in his choice of subject, from photorealistic suburban scenes to cartoonish renderings of figures and still lifes.
