Lithograph (zincograph) in black on yellow wove paper, 1889, with trimmed margins, from the edition of probably 30 to 50 impressions. 10 1/2 x 11 in. (sheet), 17 x 18 in. (frame).Note: Symbolist Paul Gauguin made the series of drawings used for the Suite Volpini in 1888. The first edition, as here, was printed in 1889 by Ancourt and published by the artist. The medium is zincography, a lithographic process on zinc. Impressions were signed and titled in the plate only.,
