The fisherman with net 11 3/8 x 15 3/8 in. (frame), the two rowing boats 18 x 10 in. (frame), the two men with nets 8 3/4 x 9 1/4 in. (frame).
Note: The fisherman with the net is shown mending the net and is part of a "People Working" series designed by Ned Hancock, a worker at the Industrial in the 1930s. A similar example to the one in this lot can be found in Paula Laverty's Silk Stocking Mats (McGill-Queen’s Press, 2005) on p. 125.

Condition
Minor wear consistent with age and use. The two mats mounted vertically with the bottom mat no longer attached. Scattered staining and soiling. Otherwise in good condition.
