Military-style jacket of blue wool broadcloth trimmed with silver galloon, with braided silver epaulletes, black velvet cuffs and standing collar, pointed front waist, and black quilted lining. Together with a matching black velvet waistcoat with zipper closure and white synthetic lining.

Note: André wore a red version of this coat and vest to the 30th anniversary celebration of the founding of Yves Saint Laurent's house in 1992. He appears to have worn this blue version in 1996, while being photographed with John Galliano and Amanda Harlech. 

In fair overall condition; the coat with large mothbite at proper left chest, and button missing from neck.
