The hinged top opening to three shelves, above a hole for a basin (lacking), above a false central drawer flanked by a pair of short drawers, over a pair of cupboard doors, flanked by fluted canted corners, raised on short tapered legs, ending in sabots.

Jean-Baptiste Gamichon, maitre in 1790, he died in 1832.

Condition

Repaired age cracks on the top and sides which have oxidized. Very slight warp to the top. Lacking sabot on back right foot. Age cracks to the front doors with associated losses. Evidence of old worming. Beautiful feathered mahogany veneer and nicely constructed.
