The Samson comprising:

A caddy and a cover decorated with a bird, spurious gold anchor mark

A caddy and cover metal-mounted and decorated with a grasshopper, unmarked

The largest 5 1/2 in. high.

The Chinese Export with minor wear, a small repair at neck and lacking cover. The Samson with a bird with minor wear, rubbing to the gilding, the cover replaced. The Samson with the grasshopper with minor wear, the cover slightly loose from the collar.
