The one case inscribed "B.P.O.E." beneath moosehead and enamel five-point star, the other "Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 48 F. O. E., both retailed by Alfred Schickerling New York, patented 1909 and 1910; the folding case with elk's head in relief, leather lined; the page turner, unmarked, with engine twined surface. 1 1/2 to 7 1/4 in., approx. 3 oz.
