With the plates in 2 states, many of the plates signed in pencil by the respective artist. Original full red leather gilt, raised bands, spines and covers decorated with gilt eagles, elaborately gilt-decorated red and green leather dentelles with Roosevelt's monogram, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt.
