Note: Austrian painter Stylianos Schicho is a self-described observer of socially relevant issues in contemporary global society. Through his work, he tries to show current tensions and social events in a format that forces the image on the viewer, as here. In doing so, Schicho says that the 'disguise' of the sitter no longer offers protection and they also become exposed.
