The fall front decorated with reserves of gilt-iron on a red velvet ground, opening to thirteen drawers and two doors, all inlaid with bone and highlighted with parcel-gilt decoration and spiral twist columns.

The top and sides with staining, scuffing and age splits. Wear to the gilt-metal mounts and velvet reserves. Lacking some metal mounts. Seam separations and minor age splits on the fall-front door. The interior with restoration to the drawer fronts, two handles replaced, two handles and a few bone pieces missing. The upper right drawer restored with losses, four columns lacking. One middle drawer smaller than the rest. Velvet reserves and trim worn on the side panels.
