Condition

Wear is consistent with age and use. Formerly had finials with old repairs, age splits, nicks and general wear throughout. Evidence of old worming with some losses. The carving on the arm rests is later in date with small holes where they are nailed to the supports. The molding along the seat may be later in date with a replacement on the back left. The carving on the underside of the seat is probably later in date. Worming to the legs and feet and a slight wobble to the frame. White paint spattered on the left stile. Composed of some later elements. Grand scale.
