After a design by George Hepplewhite, comprised of two armchairs and six side chairs, each with an arched top rail above the pierced neoclassical back splats, the outswept armrests above the upholstered seat with slip covers, raised on square tapering legs, ending on spade feet and fitted with a stretcher. Armchairs 38 x 24 1/2 x 20 1/2 in., side chairs 37 1/2 x 21 3/4 x 19 3/4 in., height of seats 19 1/2 in.
