Note: Andrew Kirkaldy (1860-1934) was a professional Scottish golfer. He is credited with predicting the greatness of golfer John Henry Taylor after losing a match to him in 1891. Three years after beating Kirkaldy, Taylor became the first Englishman to win the Open Championship. Condition: With margins. An erased inscription lower left. A few creases at the left edge.
