Note: Massachusetts-based painter Robert Vickrey was known for his work in the ancient medium of egg tempera. Along with painters Andrew Wyeth, Jared French and Paul Cadmus, Vickrey worked in a style that combined Surrealism with Realism and became known as Magic Realism.
