Note: Jacques d'Amboise and the National Dance Institute choreographed and performed a work titled 'We Real Cool' based on the poem of the same title by Gwendolyn Brooks. Red Grooms painted the backdrop for the set. This drawing is a study for the final large painting.

Condition
Tack holes at places around the sheet edges. Otherwise apparently in very good condition. Not examined out of frame.
