With 1 cut emerald weighing 2.50 carats, 1 old European-cut diamond weighing 1.70 carats, and 1 old European-cut diamond weighing 1.60 carats; engraved 'G.T. Van Nordem, 5 W 57th St.'. With GIA report #6183690731. Size 6, 9.0 grams. Note: The mansion at 5 W 57th St. was owned by James Talcott, a wealthy merchant. In 1898, his daughter, Grace, married Warner de La Montaigne Van Norden. He was a banker and 10th generation of his family in New York. This was most likely her engagement ring. The newlyweds lived in Rye for a few years, but moved back to her parent's house by 1910.,
