Note: British artist Peter Liversidge's work is conceptual, most often in the form of 'Proposals' which Liversidge types on to A4 paper at his desk. Each proposal suggests a concept for an exhibition or project that range from the very simple to the absurd. Liversidge's work experiments with the idea of what is possible as an individual and within a community. Many of his commissioned proposals have been realized, while others remain as ideas on the sheet of paper. These twelve books are proposals that Liversidge conceived for various institutions between 2007 and 2010.
