Exhibited: The Abingdon armchair first appeared in the Glasgow International Exhibition. It was a variant of the 'Abingwood' armchair which was wooden backed and had a rush seat.
In good condition, probably with original leather seats which have stains and wear, the backrests re-upholstered. Minor nicks to the oak frame with wear to the leather buttons. Sound frame, deep seats.
