Both sides are carved with winged lion monopodia supports and centered with fruiting cornucopias and winged eagles.

Note: Trapezophoroi were used in early Roman houses as leg supports for a marble table top. The top could have been a single slab or an elaborately inlaid micro-mosaic or pietra dura panel. They were generally used in an atrium of a wealthy family's house.
