Upholstered in 18th century floral petit point needlework panels on the front and carriage cloth on the reverse; one chair stamped 'RW', the other 'WH'.

44 x 22 x 24 1/4 in., height of seat 18 3/4 in.

Both in good overall condition with evidence of old worming. One chair with a reinforced seat rail. Some later leg and stretcher replacements. The upholstered seats with minor cat scratch marks, otherwise the needlework is in good condition. One backrest with a very slight wobble, the other sound.
