Upholstered in black horsehair fabric.

34 1/4 x 21 x 21 in., height of seat 19 in.

Note: Although the front legs carved as lion monopodia are typical of the Regency period, the designed of these chairs also reflects continental influence, namely in the shape of the back rests and gadrooned splats.

Condition

Minor veneer nicks, small age splits, scuffing and general wear throughout. Old repairs to three of the front legs, evidence of old worming on the seat rails. Rubbing to the lion heads. Wear to the stiles where they meet the seat. Both structurally sound, good quality.Not withstanding this report or any discussion concerning condition of a lot, all lots are offered and sold "as is" in accordance with our conditions of sale.
