Note: The Prince of Wales rode "Cark Courtier" to victory in the Lord Manners Cup at the Grenadier Guards Point-to-Point, Hillesden, Buckinghamshire, March 16, 1927.  The catagloue of the Sale of the Prince of Wales's horse on February 23, 1929 gives the following descrition of the horse: "Cark Courtier, Brown Gelding, 8 years, 16-1, by Courtisan II, out of Cark Grouse, up to 13-7, winner of Manner's Cup (Bicester Point-to-Point); secod Belvoir Nomination Race, Blankney Nomination Race and Welsh Gaurds' Regimental Race, all in 1927; second to Turkey Buzzard in Birmingham.'  "Cark Courtier" was the Prince of Wales's mount when hunting with the Quorn, Belvoir and Cottesmore hounds. 

Condition

Tiny holes at the corners. Some surface soiling. Otherwise in good condition.
