The bound book with aluminum case, framed print signed 'Buzz Aldrin' on the reverse, lunar rock presentation case and meteorite, all numbered 1,959.

Aluminum case 13 3/4 x 23 1/2 x 20 1/2 in., print 17 3/8 x 14 3/8 in. (overall), presentation case 2 3/4 x 9 x 9 in., meteorite 2 1/4 x 1 1/4 in.

 

Note: The Taschen website provides the following information about this work: 'Limited to just 12 copies, one for each astronaut who walked on the Moon, the Lunar Rock Edition of Norman Mailer’s MoonFire is designed by Marc Newson. Each book is contained in a case inspired by the Apollo 11 LEM (Lunar Excursion Module)—its surface an actual 3-D topography of the Moon—and comes with a unique piece of lunar meteorite. Some surface soiling and scuffing to the book case and presentation case. The book with the original cellophane wrapping. Overall in good condition.
