The exterior with two monograms painted in gold and yellow: 'H.G.W.', initialed on the locks: 'L.V', marked on the studs: 'LOUIS VUITTON', marked on the main latch: '70 C........PARIS LOUIS VUITTON LONDON 148 NEW BOND STREET'', numbered: '081435'; the interior with 11 hangers marked: 'MADE IN FRANCE BY LOUIS VUITTON PARIS-LONDON', a case marked on the leather handle: 'L. VUITTON', with six drawers marked on the handle: 'L. VUITTON', all with interior straps marked: 'Louis VUITTON BREVETE'.

Condition
With wear throughout as to be expected from age and use. Scuffing and losses to the monogrammed leather. Leather handle ripped in half. The brass corners dented. Scattered missing studs, scuffed and discolored wood runners. Front impressed leather band probably replaced. Structurally sound.
