Étienne Avril maître in 1774. Fitted with a marble top with eared corners above two short and two long drawers. 

33 3/4 x 4 ft. 2 1/2 in. x 22 1/2 in.

Note: One of Étienne Avril's more notable pieces of furniture is in the Palace of Fontainebleau and is fitted with bisque nymphs. He is mostly known for his restrained use of ormolu mounts on mahogany furniture.

Condition

Minor nicks along the marble top with slight scuffing. Age cracks along the side panels, otherwise good overall condition. Finely made.Not withstanding this report or any discussion concerning condition of a lot, all lots are offered and sold "as is" in accordance with our conditions of sale.
