Note: The composition for the painting was taken from a photograph taken for Vogue magazine by Agenta Fischer to publicize the charity "Le Colis de Trianon-Versailles". The Duchess and Elsie de Wolfe oversaw the charity's assemblage of care packages to be dispatched to the front during WWII.
