Two oil on canvas, 1850, unsigned, inscribed 'Portrait of James Mattingly Drawn by John Arnold On the 6th of November 1850. Aged 45 years' and 'Portrait of Ann Mattingly Drawn on the 7th of November 1850. Aged 42 years.' respectively on the reverse. Both 30 x 25 in., 35 x 30 1/2 in. (frame).
