Note: John Richardson met Douglas Cooper in 1950. He moved to France with Cooper in 1952 to live at the newly renovated Chateau de Castille that housed Cooper's private museum of Cubist art. They remained a couple until 1960 when Richardson left Cooper and moved to New York City.

Condition
