Note: In 1912, Dr. Henry Forrest Libby built a museum to house his beloved collection of "artifacts" of the natural world. Located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, the museum is still open to the public and continuing Dr. Libby's goal of educating visitors. An ardent defender of the environment, the museum was only one part of his life, Dr. Libby was also a dentist, inventor, sculptor, author, poet, historian, lecturer, scientist, and a State Representative.
