The cannon 11 1/2 x 26 x 13 in., the limber 11 1/2 x 34 x 13 in.
Note: The Model 1841 six-pounder gun was made in large numbers for the Mexican War and was in general service at the outbreak of the American Civil War, used both by the Federal and Confederate Armies. At 900lbs it was easy to maneuver and quite popular, they were soon replaced by heavier guns with longer ranges.
