The silver comprising:
A pair of Continental casters with gilt covers, indistinctly marked
A Victorian silver-gilt muffineer, mark of Thomas Bradbury & Sons, London, 1896
A Black, Starr & Frost silver caster with gilt cover, marked 'Sterling'
A set of four German casters with putti finials, marked '800'
A set of four Continental casters with gilt covers and dolphin finials, indistinctly marked
The silver plate comprising:
A pair of Italian casters
A pair of faceted casters
A faceted muffineer
A caster with scroll handles
A caster with putti finial
The largest 9 x 3 1/4 in. diam., 55 oz. approx. weighable.
Condition
Wear consistent with age and use, some with scattered bruises. A few with loose covers. The caster with scroll handles has an associated cover. Otherwise in good condition.
