Set of eight three-pronged forks, marked Edinburgh, possibly for Harry Beathune, early 18th century; monogrammed

Set of five dinner knives with steel blades and filled handle, three fruit forks, two fruit knives with steel blades and filled handles; probably marked for Thomas Swift, London, early 18th century

A tablespoon marked London, 1783, makers mark indistinct; monogrammed

A large tablespoon mark of Peter & Anne Bateman, London, 1799; engraved with a heraldic device

The large tablespoon 8 3/4 in., 14 oz. approx. weighable, (20 pcs).

Condition

All with wear consistent with use. The three pronged forks with some slightly bent tines. The dinner knives with bruised handles and decoration are very worn. The fruit knives with bruised handles and areas of oxidation to the blades. The fruit forks with bruised handles. The two spoons with very minor wear.Not withstanding this report or any discussion concerning condition of a lot, all lots are offered and sold "as is" in accordance with our conditions of sale.
