Inscribed 'BENEDETTO ROSSA FECE FARE a 1826'. 6 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. diam.

Colbachini, Padua: 5 1/4 x 5 3/4 in. diam.

Probably from the Alberghetti Foundry: 6 x 7 1/4 in. diam.

With one handle: 4 1/2 x 5 3/4 in.

Condition

The first mortar in good condition with scattered nicks and wear with a patinated surface. The second piece with a worn cartouche, scattered staining, nicks and wear. The third also with a patinated surface expected nicks and wear throughout. It has scattered worn areas on the frieze. The forth mortar with expected wear and a long age split.
