Susan and Alan Miller were discerning antiquarians whose refined eye and deep intellectual curiosity shaped a lifetime of thoughtful collecting. Susan’s passion for textiles was a key pillar of their collecting, guided by a fascination with the history embedded in woven patterns, embroidered motifs, and the centuries-old design traditions they reflect. This connection to historical references extended across the couple’s collection, where highlights include European drawings, Asian works of art, and European and American furniture.
