Mounted on frame.
26 x 40 in. (frame).
Note: St. Anthony, Newfoundland, Canada became the headquarters of the Grenfell Mission in the early 1900s after a hospital was built in the town. Today, the church no longer stands but the view remains much the same. This design was in production by 1929. A similar rug of the same design is illustrated in Paula Laverty's book Silk Stocking Mats (McGill-Queen’s Press, 2005) on p. 127.
