The upper part with dentil-carved breakarch crest above a pair of doors applied with moldings and rosettes, the slant flap opening to blind fret-fronted drawers, above four graduated drawers, on bracket feet.

A paper note on the upper section states: 'The property of His Grace The Duke of Rutland, sale Wednesday, 18th April 1934, purchased for Royal Co. by N. Kiel'.

A 5 inch old repair on the right side cornice and a 4 inch old patch on the left side. Age cracks to the two upper doors. A 10 inch Age crack along the slant-front with two small 2 1/2 inch patches lower left. Right side of second drawer with an old repair and an associated patch on the carcass. Smaller age cracks to the feet. In good restored condition.
