The steel dial inscribed 'Sam.l Stirling London', and with day-of-the-month aperture, beneath a 'Strike / No Strike' dial, the movement with anchor escapement and urn and foliate-engraved back plate, the case with maskheads at the corners above pendant fruit spines; pierced maskhed and sun ray side panels. 20 x 12 3/4 x 8 1/4 in.
