Old restorations. Minor patches. Scattered scratches to the top. Seam separations, patches (one 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 in. on right side) and filled age cracks to the sides. One missing patch of veneer 1 x 3/4 in. to left side.  Replaced hardware. Replaced leather writing surface. Left drawer support for writing surface no longer closes fully. Evidence of former veneer lifting and cracking, now stabilized. Back legs added later. Structurally sound.
