The set of bound pencil sketches on paper, 1870, inscribed 'Frank Anderson / Peekskill / N.Y.' on the first page, with various inscriptions throughout, original leather boards and marbleized endpapers with brass closure. 3 x 4 1/2 in.Note: This sketchbook, along with the other Anderson drawings and sketches in the following lots, was purchased at an estate sale with paintings by the artist's son, Victor Anderson (1882-1937).
