Condition

In good overall condition with expected wear. Central door and drawers have a secret locking mechanism in order to open. Scattered age splits a few small veneer losses. Parts of the gallery are later in date and fitted with a metal brace on the top with nicks, small losses to the balusters. Minor repairs and age cracks to the marble and alabaster pilasters with a few small replacements. Minor losses to the molded borders, drawer fronts and ebonized molding. The gilding with minor losses throughout. The drawers slide well. Structurally sound. Impressive scale, and of fine quality.
