Note: Thomas Johnson was an 18th century British designer and carver, known for his elaborate use of rococo elements. He adapted scenes from Francis Barlow's illustrations of Aesop's Fables.

Condition

Generally, in good overall condition with very minor nicks and scuffs to the jasper top. Scattered age splits, nicks and losses to the gilded surface. One significant age split to the central trunk. Structurally sound, fine quality.
