The undulating top rail centered by a shell, above the pierced baluster-shaped backsplat with carved serpents and scrolled edges, the outscrolled armrests with lion mask handles, raised on a scrolled volute, above the undulating drop seat and conforming apron centered by shells, raised on cabriole legs, the knees carved with cartouches centered by male masks and bell-flowers, ending on claw-and-ball feet with pierced talons. 40 1/2 x 58 1/4 x 22 3/4 in.
