The molded cresting of break-front outline, above a pair of paneled doors flanked by fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, opening to reveal a divided fitted interior, with drawers and pigeonholes; above the slant-front fitted with a leather-lined writing surface and an elaborate keyhole escutcheon, the interior with a small compartment carved with a British Grenadier soldier, flanked by columns and shell carved drawer fronts at the top above pigeonholes and serpentine-fronted drawers, the lower section fitted with three short and three long graduating drawers, the whole raised on bracket feet; fitted with pierced brass handles and escutcheons. 8 ft. x 4 ft. x 2 ft.View the spotlight to learn more on this fine piece >Provenance: Arthur Brett & Sons, Norwich, England.
