Oil on canvas, 1911, signed 'Emma Ciardi', dated and inscribed 'Venezia' lower right.

Note: Emma Ciardi was a Venetian-born artist from a family of painters who gained acclaim in London and New York for her views and landscapes of her home city and the Veneto. Ciardi showed at Leicester Galleries in London and with the Howard Young Gallery in New York who represented her until her death in 1933.
