Seventeen with the mark of George W. Adams (Chawner & Co.), London, 1841, one mark of John & Henry Lias, London, 1847; each engraved with a heraldic device. 8 1/2 in. long..

Property from an Historic Livingston, NY Family Estate

Condition

Two with maker marks that appear to be overstruck. The handle of the knife marked for John & Henry Lias has had a break about one inch from the end that has been reglued with a few tiny associates losses. Some of the knives with very tiny nicks near carving, all natural inclusions to the stone. There is wear to the blades and gilding consistent with use. Otherwise in good condition. Very chic.
