Oil on canvas, 1912, signed 'EW Dickinson', inscribed 'ASL Chase class',  lined, with label from Babcock Galleries, NY and ACA Galleries, NY, Catalogue Raisonné number 7.   20 x 20 in., 21 1/4 x 21 1/4 in. (frame).
Note: Painter Edwin Dickinson was born in Seneca Falls, NY. He studied with William Merritt Chase and spent most of his life on Cape Cod and New York City.  He painted this work at the Art Student's League, NY in a class tought by Chase.
