Note: This monotype was sold in the Atelier Degas 4ieme et Dernière Vente de Tableaux, Pastels et Dessins par Edgar Degas et provenant de son atelier sale at Galerie Georges Petit, Paris, on July 4, 1919. It is illustrated in the sale catalogue, page 305, no. 379a and was sold together with another monotype in the same frame, Jockey à cheval.

Condition

Pale  light- and mat staining. The right sheet edge irregularly trimmed. Some surface soiling and tiny nicks at the sheet edges.
