With plaque, E.F. Caldwell Co. New York; the hinged cover with strapwork centering a crowned blind cartouche supported by cherubs, opening laterally to secondary metal lid, in turn opening to four recesses, the case with mask heads and fruiting borders. 3 7/8 x 16 1/2 x 12 1/2 in.
