The tonneau-shape case with single-cut diamonds and calibre-cut black onyx, on a black grosgrain ribbon strap; the movement signed 'Ed. Koehn, Geneva, Swiss, No. 86567, eighteen jewel, 7 adjustments, the case stamped 'Platinum' and '2508'.
Note: Dreicer & Co. 1904-1923, originated in an American firm representing Parisian firm, A. Eknayan, displaying diamond jewelry at the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition.
They had a branch at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago and also in New York. Following the death of Michael Dreicer, the founder's son, in 1921, the inventory was liquidated and purchased by Cartier for $2.5 million.,
