Note: Aladar Marberger was the director of Fischbach Gallery where he re-focused the gallery's philosophy from the avant-garde to contemporary Realism . Elaine de Kooning captured the dealer in a similar composition two years before his untimely death from AIDS in 1988 at the age of forty-one.
